Our New Website Is Live

Our new website is now live. It is faster, clearer, and designed around how our clients actually use it: to quickly assess whether we can help with a specific engineering problem and get in touch with the right person.

This post explains why we upgraded, what has changed, and what it means for the businesses we work with.

Why We Upgraded

The previous site had served us well, but it was no longer matching the pace of the business. Enquiries were taking longer than they should to move into scoped projects. Clients were ringing to ask questions that should have been answered on the site. Our capability had grown, but the way we presented it had not.

Three reasons drove the decision:

  • Growth. We have expanded across PLC programming, robotics, control systems, 3D scanning, and electrical engineering. The old site did not reflect the full picture of what we now deliver.
  • Better enquiries. Unqualified contact wastes time on both sides. A clearer site attracts better-scoped enquiries from people who already understand what we do.
  • Faster value for clients. If a manufacturing engineer lands on our site with a specific problem at four in the afternoon, they need to know within a minute whether we can solve it.

To support this, we worked with Site Commander Studio to design and build a new website aligned with how our clients evaluate engineering partners.

What Has Changed

Speed. Pages now load in a fraction of a second on most connections. No blocking scripts, no heavy carousels, no legacy tracking bloat.

Mobile. The old site was technically responsive but awkward to read on a phone. The new site is built mobile-first, with typography and layout that hold up on any screen size.

Clearer information. Each service page now covers what we do, how we approach the work, and the kind of projects we take on. Case studies reference real clients and real capabilities instead of generic claims.

Contact flow. Enquiry forms are shorter, clearer, and routed directly to the engineers who can answer technical questions. You will not be bounced between departments before reaching someone who can scope the work.

How It Benefits Our Clients

The upgrade is not about aesthetics. It is about removing friction between a problem and a solution.

If you are evaluating integrators for a project, the site lets you do that evaluation quickly. You can confirm our experience in your sector, see relevant work, and start a scoped conversation without a preliminary sales call. If you are an existing client, the resources you need are easier to find and the contact routes are faster.

We will continue to add content: project write-ups, technical articles, and updates on the specific platforms and standards we work with. The goal is a site that earns its place in the decision-making process, not one that gets in the way of it.

The website was designed and developed by Site Commander Studio, a design and development studio based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Their clients typically see around a 300% increase in traffic and enquiries within the first few months of launch, which matched what we were looking for: not a visual refresh, but a site that produces measurable commercial results.

You can read the full project write-up in the LEF Engineering case study, which covers the redesign approach, the content strategy, and the measurable outcomes.

If you have a project in mind, start an enquiry and one of our engineers will be in touch.
